A 70-year-old dry cleaning business was sold and has become the franchise of a multinational company.
Clean Brands LLC, the parent company of Martinizing Cleaners, purchased Lindeman’s Dry Cleaning this past spring via the “Clean Exit Program,” an initiative launched in October 2024 to facilitate transitions for independent dry cleaning and laundromat owners looking to retire, sell or exit the industry. The company purchased four locations owned by Dennis Schmitt and one owned by Lee Novy, then listed them for sale as franchise locations.
Cory and Trisha Spice, both residents of Suamico, bought all five locations on Sept. 6 and rebranded the business as Martinizing Cleaners of Greater Green Bay. Cory Spice said he’s been a longtime customer of Lindeman’s and thought it was a great opportunity to keep the business open…
