ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – One of the most anticipated events toward the end of the calendar year is back for the 30th time, as the NEW Community Shelter hosted its annual Bowl-a-thon on Saturday.
The event, held at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, invites community members to join for a fun afternoon of bowling to raise money to fight homelessness and hunger in northeast Wisconsin.
Last year’s event raised over $111,000, and the goal for the 2025 campaign was set at $100,000 as bowlers gathered at noon to knock down some pins to strike out hunger…
