KAUKAUNA (WLUK) — Friday was a special day in assisted living centers and nursing homes in the Fox Valley, as many organized trick-or-treat Halloween events for children.
“It’s fun. We get to see a lot of kids come through and enjoy everybody as they come through,” said Cindy Ketter, a resident at Care Partners Assisted Living in Kaukauna.
Added Smiley Sell, a fellow resident: “It is a huge holiday here. Yeah, it’s a very huge holiday, and you know, all the residents try to get dressed up, and it’s just fun for everybody.”…
