DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – The Key Club at De Pere High School teamed up with Unity Hospice to make care packages for local Veterans in assisted living facilities.
Students helped to make 60 packages that will be going to Unity Hospice, Tender Hearts Assisted Living, Allouez Senior Care, and Angel’s Touch Assisted Living.

“We got some winter clothing, nice warm socks, slippers, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, as well as personal care items,” began Matt Colwell, Desert Veterans of Wisconsin Quartermaster. “Then we got some playing cards and handmade cards.”
Any leftover care packages will be given to Veterans who move into hospice later on…
