Illinois man arrested for arson after barn fire near Muscoda

TOWN OF PULASKI, Wis. — An Illinois man was arrested for arson Monday in connection with a barn fire that happened last month.

According to Iowa County Sheriff Michael Peterson, the fire happened at around 11:51 a.m. on Oct. 6 along Delp Road in the Town of Pulaski, near Muscoda. Crews from multiple fire departments as well as Iowa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.

After an investigation, deputies on Monday arrested a 37-year-old Warren, Ill. man on charges of arson of a building without owner’s consent. The man was being held in the Iowa County Jail Monday pending an initial court appearance…
