Lineville Road will soon reopen to traffic in Suamico

SUAMICO, Wis. (WFRV) – A major thoroughfare connecting Howard and Suamico will soon reopen, bringing some much-needed relief to drivers.

The new and improved Lineville Road (County Highway M) aims to ease the growing traffic between the two villages. The second phase of the project included repairs and infrastructure improvements, including upgrades to several roundabouts in the area.

Drivers will also notice that Lineville, from Velp Avenue all the way to West Deerfield Avenue, has been expanded to four lanes. The upgrades also add a 12-foot multi-use trail for pedestrians and cyclists along the north side of the roadway.

Village of Howard Administrator Paul Evert said, “Thanks to the public and our local businesses here who have found a way to get around and make it work, while this was happening. Big projects are complicated, they take awhile to do but people will see in the next ten days the value of this project almost instantly, the first time you drive.”…
