GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The National Railroad Museum announced its 2025 Festival of Trees, set to run November 20th, 2025, through January 4th, 2026, with more decorated trees than ever before, including displays for the first time inside the museum’s new Fox River Expansion.
A press release from the museum says the popular annual tradition draws more than 20,000 visitors each year as guests walk among historic locomotives, railcars and exhibits surrounded by dozens of uniquely decorated trees crafted by local businesses and community groups.

Tree sponsorships from area organizations help support the museum’s mission, fund educational programming, and preserve its historic collections.

The Festival of Trees is included with daily admission. The museum will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, with a 2 p.m. closure planned December 31st. Additional early closures will take place on days when The Polar Express Train Ride is scheduled throughout November and December.
