Fairly quiet and chilly weather continues for Friday, but there may be some scattered flurries or light snow showers that make a minimal impact. More snow is expected to make travel difficult on Saturday.
Saturday’s snow will be starting in the morning to the south, and in the afternoon further to the north. The most intense snow will occur between 4pm Saturday and 2am Sunday, so if you have any plans to be on the road later in the day, know travel conditions will be difficult with slippery roads and reduced visibility from heavy snow.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS will be powdery where most can expect between 4 and 8 inches on the ground by the end of the weekend. Accumulation will be LOWER TO THE NORTH where totals are expected to be closer to 3 inches, while around Green Bay and the Fox Cities totals will get closer to 6 inches. South of Appleton to Fond du Lac and the lakeshore, totals could get up to the 6 to 9 inch range by early Sunday…
