GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Green Bay residents will see voucher levy information on their 2025 property tax statements.
The school district says residents will see the new information under the “Note” section. It will also explain how much of the Green Bay Area Public School District’s levy is for the purpose of private school vouchers.
On April 15, 2025, the Green Bay city council approved a request from the Green Bay Area Public School District Board of Education for voucher transparency by providing information on the property tax bills. Under the “Note” section this year, residents will find a line that reads: “Of the amount levied by GBAPS, $9,972,474.70 is for the purpose of private school vouchers.”…
