Green Bay’s Napalese Lounge & Grille marks 13 years, making LGBTQIA+ history

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Napalese Lounge & Grill in Green Bay is marking 13 years under the ownership of Butch and Stacy, a milestone the bar celebrated by thanking is patrons and community.

In a shared post on social media, Napalese reflected on more than a decade of memories, packed nights, and meaningful moments made possible by its owners and loyal customers.

“Today marks 13 years of Butch & Stacy owning Napalese and we’re feeling grateful for the memories, the milestones, and your patronage,” the post read. “From packed nights to unforgettable moments, Naps is what is is because of them, and our amazing community.”

This anniversary comes at a historic moment for the bar. With the recent closure of Milwaukee’s iconic This Is It!, Napalese is now considered the oldest continuously operating gay bar in Wisconsin.
