GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Christmas will be brighter for dozens of teenagers in Brown County thanks to a holiday donation drive led by Green Bay Metro Fire Fighters.
Fire fighters delivered gifts to The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay on Monday after collecting more than $11,000 and nearly 1,400 gifts for local teens in need.
According to organizers, this year’s effort raised $11,232.67 and collected 1,389 gifts, all of which will help ensure teenagers across the area receive holiday presents this Christmas season.
Fire officials credited the success of the program to strong community support, thanking residents of Green Bay, Allouez and Bellevue, along with surrounding communities, for their generosity. The City of Green Bay was also recognized for providing a donation collection box at City Hall…
