KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – The Kaukauna Area School District’s Board of Education held its first public meeting to review finalist names for the district’s new middle school.
The district invited community members over the past several weeks to submit ideas for the school’s name. Officials say community feedback played a key role in narrowing the list.
“We actually had like, 255 different submissions to that survey. From there the board narrowed that down to four official finalists names,” Mike Slowinski, Kaukauna Area School District superintendent said. “So where we’re at in the process right now is that the board is considering those four finalists names with some more input from the community.”
