‘Helped protect our most vulnerable’: Green Bay Police Detective retires after 25 years

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A long-time Green Bay Police Department employee was presented with a medal as he retired from the force after 25 years of serving the community.

Detective John Peters served in several units, including the Dive Team and Marine Unit, but his Police Medal came as a result of his work with the Brown County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

“His efforts helped protect some of our most vulnerable community members and made a lasting impact,” the Green Bay Police Department said on Facebook.
