Ashwaubenon Police & Fire Commission appoints next Chief of Public Safety

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Village of Ashwaubenon will now have a new Chief of Public Safety after the Police and Fire Commission appointed Tomas Baxter to replace the Interim Chief.

Ashwaubenon Public Safety announced Baxter’s appointment on Facebook Thursday morning, with officials saying the Ashwaubenon Police and Fire Commission appointed Baxter as the next Chief of Public Safety on December 9.

Baxter will be officially sworn into office on January 2, 2026.
