The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office has identified the Milwaukee man who died earlier this month in a crash on U.S. 41. Thirty-four-year-old Stephen Cummins was killed in the crash, which happened around 8:40 p.m. near Moody Road in the Town of Pensaukee. According to the sheriff’s office, Cummins was driving an SUV at a high rate of speed while passing another vehicle when he lost control. The vehicle briefly entered the median, and Cummins overcorrected back onto the roadway. The SUV then rolled multiple times before leaving the highway and coming to rest in a ditch near trees on the northwest side of the road. Cummins and his passenger, 31-year-old Lauren Jiardini of Milwaukee, were not wearing seat belts and were both ejected from the vehicle. Cummins was pronounced dead at the scene……
