GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – City officials in Green Bay say a temporary change in the drawbridge operating schedule is coming to the Ray Nitschke Memorial (Main Street) Bridge.
According to a release from the City of Green Bay’s Public Works Department, the Main Street Bridge will be secured to masted navigation from Tuesday, January 6, to Monday, March 9, for “maintenance activities.”
Officials say vessels that can safely pass under the bridge will be allowed to do so at any time during the maintenance work.

Meanwhile, the bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic but with limited-duration single-lane closures occurring during the timeframe, causing potential back-ups and delays for drivers.
