Last night’s low clouds were stubborn, but they finally broken open during the predawn hours. Sunshine returns today, as Canadian high pressure arrives into the western Great Lakes.
It’s going to be another wind-chilly day. Subzero “feel-like temperatures” will continue this morning. We’ll finally get those wind chills back in positive territory this afternoon. Otherwise, our high temperatures will reach the mid-teens. That’s roughly a dozen degrees colder than average for early January.
While today’s weather is quiet, the parade of “Alberta Clipper” disturbances resumes tomorrow. Saturday sky will be cloudy, with scattered snow showers. Only a fluffy dusting of snow is expected tomorrow, with highs near 20 degrees…
