APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – WisDOT officials say the Wednesday morning crash that brought I-41 South in Appleton to a standstill has cleared.

Traffic was backed up and brought to a standstill at around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, following a crash that occurred at 8:01 a.m. on I-41 South near WIS 47 North.
The left lane was closed at the time, but officials say the crash scene was cleared at 8:47 a.m. and all lanes of I-41 South in Appleton are now open.
