Community Update: Green Bay Police Chief talks DFR and the department’s hiring process

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay Police Chief Chris Davis stopped by the Local 5 Studio Thursday morning to discuss the Drone as First Responder program, as well as the police department’s hiring process.

According to Chief Davis, the Drone as First Responder program is planned to be launched later this year, allowing the police department to remotely fly a drone from a building on either side of the Fox River to the scene of an ongoing call.
