APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Appleton say an armed man is now in custody following a domestic disturbance where the suspect also kicked an arresting officer.
According to a release from the Appleton Police Department, officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance, where they made contact with the caller through a window, who told arriving police that they were too afraid to exit the home.
Officers were able to enter the home and safely escort the caller out of the residence, during which time they heard a man loading a firearm in the bedroom.
