Lengthy K9 track, drone lead search for domestic violence suspect in Appleton wooded area

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – After a domestic violence suspect fled from officers at an Appleton home, K9s and a drone were used to find the suspect in a wooded area.

Earlier this week, officers with the Appleton Police Department say they were contacted by the Green Bay Police Department to help find a wanted domestic violence suspect who was possibly at an Appleton address.

When officers got to the home, they were allowed in by the homeowner, but it was at that point that the suspect fled from the scene on foot.
