Green Bay schools report typical winter illnesses as flu surges across the state

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Respiratory illness remains high across Wisconsin, according to the most recent data from the Department of Health Services.

That increase has been driven largely by the flu, but in Green Bay schools, nurses say they’re seeing a seasonal mix of illnesses, not a surge, and it’s not uncommon during this time of year.
