Green Bay, Wisconsin – After a snowy and slow morning commute, off-and-on light snow will continue across northeast Wisconsin into Saturday, followed by a sharp drop in temperatures and dangerously cold wind chills early next week, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Forecasters said the most persistent snow through Saturday will affect east-central and north-central Wisconsin, where lake-effect influences may keep snow going longer than surrounding areas.
