GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A new Texas-style craft barbecue restaurant is officially open on Broadway Street in Green Bay.
High Kaliber Craft Kitchen, located at 126 S. Broadway, celebrated its grand opening Thursday and is now welcoming customers.

High Kaliber began as a seasoning company before expanding into a food truck, and the latest step in its growth is a brick-and-mortar restaurant in downtown Green Bay.
The menu features barbecue sandwiches, including chopped brisket, along with specialty items such as the Texas Twinkie — a grilled cheese loaded with brisket, cheeses, bacon and jalapeño, served on Texas toast. The restaurant also offers “Mac Bowls,” highlighted by the Jay Mac, a layered dish featuring cornbread, loaded brisket beans, smoked mac and cheese, pulled pork, chopped brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage, finished with sizzle sauce…
