GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The American Red Cross is sounding the alarm over a critical blood shortage that has cut into blood products by 35% in the last month.
The most serious needs are for types O, A-negative and B-negative blood, according to the Red Cross. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. will need blood.
