GREEN BAY (WLUK) – In the aftermath of the Pulaski-area bonfire explosion, oral arguments about insurance coverage in civil lawsuits will be held April 20. No trial date has been set.
Benjamin Van Asten; Isaac Nelson and his parents; Brady McAllister and his father; and Brandon Brzeczkowski; and Matthew Lindsley filed civil lawsuits against the same three defendants: Allan Eron, Samuel Armstrong and Tyler Frisch. They were some of those injured when a partially filled drum of diesel and gasoline was tossed on to a fire at a home in the town of Maple Grove on Oct. 14, 2022, causing an explosion.
The current issue facing Judge John Zakowski is a group of motions filed by the insurance companies regarding the extent of their coverage. Written briefs have been filed. In court Friday, the April 20 oral arguments were scheduled. The judge is expected to issue a written decision sometime after that…
