A brisk, half-mile walk from campus lies the locally-owned Moon Water Cafe, an alternative to the College Avenue collection of coffee shops Lawrentians usually flock to.
The cafe itself is situated in a neighborhood on Lawe Street. Moon Water Cafe offers several beverage and food options, including cold brew, tea, pour-over lattes, matcha and chai, along with a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. The cafe also has a variety of alcoholic and THC-infused beverages for those of legal age.
The cafe itself was very cozy and had several seating options ranging from cushy armchairs to booths and tables.
