Unconventional warming spaces help fill a need in Brown County during cold stretch

GREEN BAY, Wis. — As frigid temperatures continue to grip Wisconsin, many shelters are extending their hours and increasing their capacity. These subzero wind chills make it difficult for the homeless to even reach these shelters.

Two northeast Wisconsin organizations are offering unconventional warming spaces to those with no place to go.
