NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers in Neenah spent part of their Sunday morning giving a helping hand to what they say was an eight-point buck stuck in some soccer netting.
According to a social media post from the Neenah Police Department, police responded around 8:00 a.m. to a home on the 1000 block of East Forest Avenue for a buck tangle in the netting of a soccer goal on the property.

Officers then worked to keep the deer from fighting while cutting the net from its answers and setting the buck free.
Police say they have received multiple calls about the same deer on Doty Island, with remnants of the nets still on the buck’s antlers. They state that the deer does not appear to be hurt, but say it is very tired…
