GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
February is National Heart Month, a time to raise awareness and educate people about prevention. Heart attack survivor Scott Siolka wants people to get checked out if they ever feel a little off or like something isn’t right.
Siolka said one morning he woke up and felt a little lightheaded but didn’t give it much thought. He went to work and continued his day as normal, but it was getting worse. Then he started sweating profusely.
