GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Common Council is expected to approve an ordinance that would let police impound vehicles after the driver is suspected of reckless driving.
The new rule would allow officers to impound vehicles while issuing tickets or making arrests related to reckless driving.
Under a new Wisconsin law from last October, the police department would have to determine if the impounded vehicle is stolen and return it to the owner if possible. If it’s not stolen, then owners would have to pay to get the vehicle back…
