City and state leaders visit site of flooding risk reduction project at Emilie Park in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – City and state leaders visited Green Bay to get an update on a project aimed at reducing flood risks for homeowners.

The project is being done at Emilie Park, which is located against the East River. The park was chosen as the location of a large-scale urban wetland.

The design is still in development, but construction is planned to start in 2027…
