DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) – The family of a man who died in a workplace accident at C.A. Lawton Co. Foundry has filed a federal lawsuit against the company.
Christopher Bridges, 24, was killed in August 2022 when a casting weighing hundreds of pounds fell on him as he tried to remove rigging equipment.
The lawsuit alleges the chain sling holding the casting wasn’t properly secured and lacked safety latches. The family is suing for negligence and failures to maintain a safe workplace…
