‘We were devastated’: Green Bay pet rescue cited for sheltering homeless people during sub-zero temps

GREEN BAY, Wis. — A Green Bay animal rescue facility has been cited for providing shelter to the homeless people during a recent stretch of sub-zero temperatures.

On Friday, the city’s inspection division fined Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary for unauthorized overnight shelter use.
