Charles “Charlie” Fabry loved the Green Bay music scene as much as it loved him.
You could see it on his face – always a smile – and hear it in the percussion instruments he never went to a local show without. He wasn’t there as a member of the band that was playing that night. He was the fan in the crowd who was there to support live music and inevitably found his way up on the stage.
Fabry liked to show up at gigs with a backpack full of shakers he would break out as the music moved him, sometimes passing them around to others and more times than not working his way onto the stage to join in…
