BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a retired former colleague who helped in drug seizures across the area.
Retired K9 Dart passed away on Wednesday after a brief battle with an illness. K9 Dart’s career started in 2017 with handler Marc, before transitioning a few years later to handler Eric.

K9 Dart retired in 2024, spending the remainder of his days at home with his family.
