APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The search for identifying the person responsible for an early morning damage complaint in Appleton on Sunday is over after police say he turned himself in.
According to a release from the Appleton Police Department, an incident leading to the damage complaint occurred during the early morning hours on the 200 block of West College Avenue.
While it is not confirmed what was damaged in the incident, the incident did occur in the same area where some ice sculptures were put out on display Saturday, as College Avenue became the Avenue of Ice.
