GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Green Bay say a temporary closure of the Ray Nitschke Bridge is coming, starting on Monday.
According to a release from the Green Bay Department of Public Works, a temporary vehicle closure and a temporary change to the bridge’s operating schedule are due to maintenance activities.
The Ray Nitschke Bridge will be closed from 6:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, through 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4. The bridge will also be secured to masted navigation during the time of the initial closure through Friday, March 20.

During the time of the bridge’s temporary closure, Dousman Street will be closed west of the Fox River at Broadway Street, and Main Street will be closed to the east of the river at Washington Street. Vessels that can pass under the bridge are allowed to do so during the closure…
