GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay issued a decree reversing his order to merge four parishes, known as the Quad Parishes, into one.
Last year, Bishop David Ricken announced the creation of a single canonical parish named Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish on July 1, 2026, made from the parishes of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, St. Jude, and St. Patrick.
In a decree dated last week, Bishop Ricken said he listened to their objections, and the Quad Parishes will remain four separate parishes. St. Patrick will continue Latin masses…
