Construction crews have started groundwork on the site of a new apartment building along the Fox River.
The first pieces of heavy construction equipment began excavation work on Feb. 25 at the site of One Astor Park, along South Adams Street. Spark Development Co.’s four-story building will add 128 apartments on a site just south of downtown and in the northwest corner of the Astor Park neighborhood.
The City of Green Bay on Feb. 23 issued a permit for the housing development with an estimated construction cost of $21 million, according to Green Bay parcel data records…
