Green Bay Sail & Paddle recently announced two grants supporting their STEM Camp for All initiative. The Hilliard Family Foundation has awarded $3,000, and the Funds for Greater Green Bay has provided $3,500 to help expand access to hands-on STEM learning experiences for local youth.
These generous investments, along with recent support from the Pivot Rock Fund, strengthen Green Bay Sail & Paddle’s ability to serve middle school students – particularly those from under-resourced and Hispanic communities – through immersive, on-the-water education.
STEM Camp for All combines sailing with real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math. Students measure sails, calculate wind speed, test water quality, and solve real-time challenges that bring classroom concepts to life.
