Man convicted in Green Bay stabbing sentenced to 25 years

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A man convicted of a Green Bay stabbing was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison.

Jaharrie Jelks, 31, was found guilty in January on six counts: Attempted 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide, False Imprisonment, Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, Drive or Operate Vehicle w/o Consent, and Armed Robbery with Threat of Force.

All charges have Repeater modifiers, and the first two charges have Use of a Dangerous Weapon modifiers, which increase the penalties…
