GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – People are being warned to stay off the roads in Brown County not only because of continuing dangerous conditions but to assist emergency services even as the Ides of March blizzard subsides.
“Even though the snowfall has ended, high winds continue causing significant drifting making it difficult for crews to keep roads clear,” County Executive Troy Streckenbach wrote in a statement. “Our plows need to be able to clear the roads enough to allow emergency services to travel safely as they handle the public’s calls for help.”
