‘Too cool for school’ snow day in Green Bay brings kids to sledding hills

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Children in Green Bay made the most of an unexpected stretch of snow days, trading classrooms for sledding hills.

On a hill off Fire Lane, the mood was anything but gloomy on Tuesday. Kids bundled up and raced down the slopes, turning the extra time off into friendly competition and outdoor fun.

“Everett has the fastest sleds – the purple, and black, and green ones,” Providence Academy student Michael Branam said.

While some admitted they were ready to return to school, many were firm on team snow day…
