Spectrum call center in Appleton will close, leaving over 300 people without jobs

Spectrum will close its Appleton call center in late May, laying off more than 300 workers.

Charter Communications, Spectrum’s parent company, filed a layoff notice with the state on Wednesday. In a statement, the company said it’s moving the work done at its Appleton call center to other centers in the U.S.

The Appleton call center will close on May 21. It employs 313 people, according to the layoff notice…
