Hannah Schuchart appointed judge in Oconto County

OCONTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oconto County’s district attorney will be taking over as judge.

Gov. Tony Evers has appointed Hannah Schuchart to a vacancy on the bench. She will succeed Judge Michael Judge, who is retiring May 1. Schuchart will serve a term ending July 31, 2027.

Schuchart has been Oconto County district attorney since 2022. She lives in Abrams and is a graduate of Purdue University and the Michigan State University law school. She has previously worked as a public defender in Oconto and Marinette counties and an assistant district attorney in Brown County…
