Flood warnings across northeast Wisconsin to continue through Easter Weekend

(WLUK) — Recent precipitation has resulted in rivers across central and east-central Wisconsin to run high, with some at minor flood stage. The potential for additional flooding in low-lying and poor-drainage areas will continue through the remainder of Easter Weekend.

Flood warnings are currently in effect for:

  • Oconto River near Oconto
  • Wolf River at Shiocton and New London
  • Little Wolf River at Royalton
  • Embarrass River near Embarrass
  • East River north of Greenleaf, affecting Brown County, especially the Village of Allouez and Bellevue.

Drivers should use caution and avoid driving around barricades or through flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. High water levels will continue as many rivers are expected to remain at or rise to bankfull into the early work week…
