Child rescued from residential retention pond in Little Chute

LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – A child was reportedly rescued from a retention pond on Sunday evening in Little Chute.

According to the Fox Valley Metro Police Department, on April 5, around 6 p.m., officers were sent to the 2200 block of Golden Gate Drive for a report of a person who went under the water. The incident was reportedly in a residential retention pond.

Waupaca Police Department warns of upcoming “rock blasting” operation

When officers got to the scene, a juvenile was found and removed from the water. The juvenile was later sent to a local hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
