After marking 100 years on the air, Woodward Communications-owned news/talk “Appleton’s News-Talk 1150” WHBY in Northeast Wisconsin has introduced a new brand identity and logo as it begins its second century of broadcasting.
The station, heard on 1150 AM and two FM translators W278AU (103.5) and W292DR (106.3), announced the change following the conclusion of a year-long anniversary celebration that highlighted its history dating back to 1925. Station officials said the updated look is intended to position WHBY for a future that extends beyond traditional radio to digital and social platforms.
The rebrand carries the slogan, “Brand New Look. Same Trusted Voice.”…
