Lung cancer rates rising among young nonsmokers

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Fewer people are being diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. That’s the good news. The bad news is, more lung cancer is being diagnosed among young nonsmokers.

A study — that has not been peer reviewed, we’ll note — says the young women who are most prone are healthier than the average American, and eat diets rich in green, leafy vegetables, whole wheats and legumes.
